Calendar Update:
On September 5, 2007, Google enacted some calendar enhancements and wreaked temporary havoc with the Region 1 calendar because the old hacks I was using to color code different types of events no longer worked.
Happily, the old hacks are no longer necessary! This is because the main enhancement is better color coding capabilities for various types of events, which was the number one complaint about the new calendar when it was first implemented.
Unfortunately, while the events are easily color coded, the colors aren't very distinct in the Agenda view. However, they are much better in the Calendar view, and in light of this I've changed the default view to the Calendar view. However, you can easily switch to the event listing you're used to by clicking on the Agenda tab in the upper right corner of the calendar.
The other complaint, that it wasn't possible to view an event listing for more than one month at a time, has also been resolved. Click on the Agenda tab (upper right corner of calendar to see the events listing) which can be expanded as far into the future as you wish by clicking on the "look for more" link at the bottom.
Another neat new feature: click on the down arrow to the right of the Agenda tab for complete control over which calendars are displayed.
